The Race Is On To Support Cancer Charity

Written by Peter Lynn

Leading regional law firm Peter Lynn and Partners are proud to support a team from Morgan Hemp as they take on the Swansea Bay 10k.
The Swansea based Chartered, Certified Accountancy practice is entering Sunday’s race to raise as much money as possible for Golau Cancer Foundation, a charity close to the heart of many at the firm.
David Phillips, Payroll Manager at Morgan Hemp, commented: “My long-term colleague and friend, Martin Hudson, continues to be cared for with kindness and professionalism by staff at Swansea’s Singleton Hospital during his on-going illness. Martin and his family are also being met with sensitivity and support by Golau Cancer Foundation during this difficult time, so I and a number of my Morgan Hemp colleagues are keen to do what we can to show appreciation for Golau”.
Supporting the fundraising activities of the team was an easy decision for Peter Lynn and Partners as both companies have worked closely over the years.  David Partington, Public Sector Litigation specialist, said: “We have known Martin for a number of years and when we found out he was raising money for the charity that has done so much for him and his family, we were only too happy to help”.
There is still time to sponsor the team and donations can be given through Just Giving by clicking here – https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/david-phillips45
