Rob is a highly experienced corporate lawyer specialising in corporate transactions ranging from mergers, acquisitions and sales of companies and businesses, management buy-outs, private equity investments and ownership succession arrangements.

Rob has well over 30 years’ experience in this field and, after his early career in Herbert Smith in London, Rob returned to his native Swansea and has been a partner at national law firm Blake Morgan LLP for some 20 years – and head of its corporate division and main board member for the last ten of those – until his retirement from that firm in 2023.

Rob remains highly motivated to help SME businesses and their owners in the region to achieve the next stage of their corporate development and joined the firm as a consultant in September 2023 to continue that work with Peter Lynn & Partners.

Rob was twice voted Insider’s Corporate Lawyer of the Year for Wales and was admitted to the Legal500 “Hall of Fame” in 2021.

Apart from his role at Peter Lynn & Partners, Rob is a non-executive director of UK-wide care group Shaw Healthcare and of Bluecap Resources Ltd, a minerals reprocessing group.

Outside work, Rob enjoys cycling, swimming and (supporting!) rugby, is a great supporter of Swansea Uplands RFC and is trying to learn Spanish.
