Rucksack Appeal Update

Written by Peter Lynn

We are pleased to announce that over the Xmas period, ten rucksacks were handed out to homeless people in Swansea along with extra clothing and sleeping bags thanks to the fundraising efforts of individuals and businesses in Swansea linked to the Rucksack Appeal.
Paula Stockley, Peter Lynn and Partners staff member and coordinator with the Rucksack Appeal commented, “Thanks to the support and help of people involved with the appeal, we were able to help the homeless in our city over Christmas and future plans include fundraising to provide summer bags with items such as sun cream, after sun, water, and wet wipes”.
If you would like to get involved, the Rucksack appeal Just Giving page is still live and donations can be made via -https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/rucksackappealswansea
